Please inform the desk that you would like to reserve a room for the Dankberg/DeGeorge wedding. Please be aware these rooms are only being held until the 25th of may for our party. The room block reserves a limited number of standard rooms (one full or queen bed) for $170, a limited number of rooms with two queen beds for $185, and a limited number of suites (2 queen beds and one pullout sofa) for $200 per night. The room block reserves a limited number of rooms with one queen bed for $149.50 or rooms with two double beds or one king bed for $159.50. This hotel is about 5.2 miles from Loews. El Rancho Motel:
Due to its small size, the El Rancho Motel will not take room blocks; however, the rate for the summer will be around $140 per night. This motel is about 5.5 miles from Loews. If you are interested in El Rancho please try to book by April as there are a very limited number of rooms available. Please call (619) 435-2251 for reservations.

Traveling to Coronado Island:
If you do not want to rent a car or take a cab all the way, there is a ferry from Downtown San Diego to Coronado Island. The ferry costs $3.50 per person and leaves San Diego about 5 miles from the airport and arrives a little over 5 miles from the hotel in Coronado. Please visit the ferry website for more information.
Traveling on Coronado Island:
If you choose not to rent a car, there are limited transportation options on the island. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle from the hotel to Coronado Village, near the El Cordova Hotel. The shuttle will have trips throughout the day; however, does not run after eight o'clock at night. Please call the concierge at Loews upon your arrival for the current shuttle schedule at (619) 424-4000.
Other than the shuttle, the hotel will always have cabs available, or be able to call one for you quickly. A ride from Loews to any of the hotels listed on this website will only be a 5 or 10 minute cab ride.
What to do on Coronado Island:
